Chef Bear (of the Alaska Indigenous Tribes) Cooks Lunch!

All of you are invited to attend a special lunch to explore the cuisine and culture of the indigenous people of our region. Chef Beat Alexander of the Tlingit and Haida tribes of Alaska will cook a surprise appetizer, 'three sisters' chowder (squash, corn, bean) and salmon prepared with berries, native root vegetables and leafy greens. Following the meal Bear will provide explanation of his dishes and highlights of the culture of his people. This is an event presented by Slow Foods Sunday in Seattle.
