You're invited to attend a special Slow Food lunch that demonstrates the power of proteins from around the world! All welcome: women, men and children! Two chefs will present. Chef Michael Diem will serve hummus from North Africa, bean & quinoa soup from the Americas, chicken dish from Italy (an Asian grilled tofu as the vegetarian alternative), a vegetable side dish from Persia, and a dessert torte from Austria. Special guest David George Gordon will describe insect consumption as part of the diet of many cultures around the world and as a protein source program being developed by the United Nations. We will sit together and enjoy the friendly, informal atmosphere! See you soon.
