Join pastry chef Laurie Pfalzer of Pastry Craft and learn to make a variety of chocolate confections for gifts or just for fun. Working with chocolate is easier than you think! Learn how to make a smooth chocolate ganache and create Dark Chocolate Truffles spiked with your choice of liqueur. Chef Laurie will walk you through each step of tempering different types of chocolate to make Dark Chocolate Bark and White Chocolate Popcorn. Chef Laurie will also demonstrate one of her favorite chocolate applications: Caramel Corn with Dark Chocolate Drizzle. Bring home a sweet package filled with your own chocolate confections. About the chef: Chef Laurie is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in New York, where she achieved top honors. Laurie's most recent restaurant gig was as the pastry chef at Salish Lodge and Spa.
