The program, features works for flute and guitar by MAURO GIULIANI (Beethoven's friend) on 19th century instruments. Mr. Schneiderman has performed with the Los Angeles Opera, LA Chamber Orchestra, LA Philharmonic, LA Baroque Orchestra, Seattle Baroque, and the American Bach Soloists among others. His extensive discography includes CDs on the Titanic, AudioQuest, Centaur and more. He is currently on the faculties of the University of California, Irvine and Irvine Valley College, and formerly teaching at California State University and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Flutist Jeffrey Cohan has performed as soloist in 25 countries, both as a modern flutist and as one of few specialists on all transverse flutes from the Renaissance through the present. He is the only person to win both the Erwin Bodky Competition in Boston and the highest prize awarded in the Flanders Festival International Concours Musica Antiqua in Bruges, two of the most prestigious awards in the world.
